Spreading Christmas Joy: Our Church Joins Samaritan’s Purse

This Christmas season, our church family has been blessed to participate in Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child, a ministry dedicated to sharing God’s love through gift-filled shoeboxes for children living in poverty around the world.

Over the past few weeks, our congregation has come together to pack shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and heartfelt notes of encouragement. These simple yet thoughtful gifts are more than just presents—they are tangible expressions of Christ’s love, bringing hope and joy to children who may otherwise go without.

It has been truly inspiring to see the outpouring of generosity and creativity from our church members, from the youngest to the oldest. Families worked together to pack boxes, while volunteers prayed over each one, asking God to use these gifts to bless the children who receive them.

Through Samaritan’s Purse, these shoeboxes will travel across borders to reach children in some of the most vulnerable communities. Alongside the gifts, each child will hear the message of the Gospel, reminding them that they are deeply loved by their Heavenly Father.

Thank you to everyone who donated items, packed boxes, and prayed for this initiative. Together, we are helping to share the joy of Christmas and the hope of Jesus Christ with children around the world.

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35
